Résumé du travail de thèse :
Obtaining a value of initial water saturation (Swi) representative of the initial state of the reservoir after the first drainage of a rock sample is of great importance, once it impacts different parameters, such as residual saturation, relative permeability wettability phases continuity, etc. That is why this work aims to make a clear comparison between the different known techniques of setting Swi and the impacts of choosing one technique over another regarding the main petrophysical parameters and the representativity of the results obtained. This evaluation is done at different scales of observation by using classical methods associated with imaging tools – Nuclear Magnetic Resonance and Micro-Tomography - and with rock samples of different sizes and compositions.
