Making better to live better
Industrial Revolution: It seems that the expression was first used in French by Jean-Baptiste Say and Adolphe Blanqui during the French revolution. It was Friedrich Engels who gave him his revolutionary sense, seeing in the technical revolution a historical sequence, in his work published in German in 1845: The Situation of the Working Class in England. The historian Arnold Toynbee popularized the expression in the English language, with a book published in 1884 : Lectures on the Industrial Revolution of the Eighteenth Century in England. (Wiki)
